Adult Education

From
Bible studies for women, to weekly men's lunch, as well as topical
studies for couples or parents and informative forums on critical
issues. Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer provides a variety of
ways for adults to study God's Word and it's meaning for our
lives.

Why Attend Adult Ed. /
Fellowship Events
There
are several great reasons for attending adult educational events. Here
are just a few...
Deepening
your personal relationship with God.
Attending adult educational events will give you the opportunity to
know God on a
deeper level through the Word.
Growing in
faith and relationship with others. As
you hear the faith stories of those around you, your faith grows. There
is also an opportunity to get to know your brothers and sisters in
Christ.
Growing in
your faith and knowledge benefits your children. When
your children ask questions about Jesus, God and faith, you will be
better prepared to answer them. Also, as your children witness you
going to classs it stresses the importance of religious education
beyond Confirmation.
If you
have not ever been to an adult education event, ask a friend to join
you! This may help
ease the tension of going
into something unfamiliar.

Prayer Shawl Group
Click,
click goes the knitting needles. One,
two three….you will hear the counting of stitches as those
crocheting count
their stitches.
The Youth Room is
a busy
place on the first and third Tuesday of each month as the Prayer Shawl
group
meets from 10am to noon.
Prayers are
woven into each stitch as the LCOOR Prayer Shawl Group lovingly make
the
shawls.
Working together,
we share
patterns, concerns and fellowship. Do
you know of someone in need of a prayer shawl? Shawls
are given to our own members and others in
the community and
beyond.
